It's You vs. You ( Are You Moving to Your Goals?)

Lately I’ve been in a rhythm... help a company/Biz owner fix something → wrap up the call → ask myself, “Did I move my own vision today?” I love the client work. It pays, it teaches. But my main quest is clear...grow the creative world I've built thus far: music, Kaden’s story, art, content, merch, e-com, and motivation/mindset geared value for people walking similar paths. What I’m learning
Clarity is protection. If you don’t decide your lane, distractions will.
Side income ≠ main identity. Fund the dream without abandoning it.
Small reps matter. A 20-minute session still moves the chain.
My rule (learned from old jobs):Back at Sam’s Club/Chick-fil-A/LongHorn/etc., the question was, “Floors mopped? Shelves stocked?” Now it’s, “Song written? Hook tested? Panel sketched? Post up? Offer clarified?” Same energy, different scoreboard. A quick story...
I know a talented dude stacking the money he's made in a business he seems to not love, planning to circle back to music “later.” He can really play, but barely shares it. My take: keep the income stream, yes, but feed the passion now. We’ve seen plenty of wins built from scraps and consistency.
And you know what...I’ve seen and experienced how easy it is to get lost in the side-quests. You chase one thing “for now,” and months later you’re deep in someone else’s storyline. I’m grateful I catch myself: Are we writing? Recording? Posting? Sketching the next arc? Clarifying what we sell/do and how we help? Even small actions count. So here’s my reminder to me (and you): help others win, but don’t forget your own scoreboard. Ask yourself daily...What moved? Even if it’s tiny, stack it. That’s how worlds and empires get built, and even if you're not looking to that extent(which is totally fine...despite what people who live online will say), that is how you build your dream life. If you needed a nudge today, this is it: log one rep for your own scoreboard before the day ends. Tomorrow, stack another. That’s how we build. 🚀
